Feb 15th 2011 - Kailua Beach!

Aloha!

So, another awesome morning, day and evening in Hawaii! Breakfast, kayaking, kayak surfing, swiming, taning, hard rock and a little bit of shopping.
We started the day with the lookout point called Lulau, it was so nice. We could see Hawaii's 3rd and 4th largest communities, it was pretty cool. When we arrived to the lookout point our coordinator Raphael told us such a funny story about chickens. There are chickens everywhere, no kidding. He told us that a long time ago there were a chicken farm that were destroyed, so all the chickens ran away and made small chickens. They ran away and lived happily ever after, because the were FREEE! So now there are chickens everywhere, like we just said.

When we were looking at the beautiful view there were a bunch of asian people, with cameras. We wanted to scare they while we were screaming WELCOME TO PALI LOOKOUT, we didn't scare them but we got their attention. So when they have grandchildren they are going to show them pictures and vidoes of an awesome exchange student group. After that we went to the beach, we relaxed for about an hour, and then almost everyone went kajaking. First we got a little info about how to use our paddle etc, and then we went out to discover and paddle the great ocean of Hawaii. It was so much fun, and we used about 1½ hour to get out to the island we were going to eat lunch at, which was subway btw - yummy. Then we relaxed and had some fun on the beach before we went around the island a little bit and watched huge waves splashing towards us. Pretty cool! Then it was time too go kajak surfing, which some people tried. They went out on the big waves and experienced real hawaiian waves. Then we started to head back to the mainland, but we made a little stop on another beach on our way home. It was great weather, and we all had a lovely kajaking trip in the sea.

DINNERTIIIIIME! at 5pm we went back to the hotel to freshen up before dinner, which was eaten at HARD ROCK CAFE Honololu. Great food, great service and a awsome dance with the waitors. "I got a feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night", and yes it was. After dinner we got to go and do a little shopping or something else. It is so fun to walk around in these streets of Waikiki, we see so much exciting things and such a different cultur then what we are used to. It is freakin aaaawsome dude, haha!
Tomorrow we are going hiking at Diamond Head, soo till then. CYA
ps. we are sooooo lucky with thw weather, the forcast for today were rain. But with our luck it was only rainging while we were in the bus. Karma! Finger's crossed that it will continue this way.
